Mixed-media art is very popular in the art community. Artists who established the right clientele can sell a good piece of work easily from $500 up to $10,000.
What private collectors love about mixed-media art is that they tell a personal story. Imagination with this form of art isn’t restricted to the traditional paintbrush and a canvas.

Added note: I recommend you use an H- Frame or a large frame easel to complete your artwork.

I suggest as a beginner you start with two mediums. You can begin with watercolor paint and colored pencils. The next step you should try is to combine your artwork with different elements such as paper collage, discarded clothing, metal, tin, or aged wood. There is no limitation to what you can create when it comes to mixed-media art.
Use these ideas to be inspired and keep creating!
